what's going on guys Jesse at Humble Crew Auto Spa and I guess the cat's out of the bag I caved in guys I bought another 911 oh no so this one here is a guards red 991.1 and if I'm being honest what I didn't love about my DOT 2 were the turbos so I love me a big naturally aspirated Porsche and so we are going to be doing full ultimate armor on this car because of course we are this ppf is a little dated so I am going to be removing this ppf and you can see that the film here uh goes up to these edges they're kind of dirty not really that great I'm going to be taking them off and redoing it and I'm going to also take out the headlights uh to tuck all of this film I'm going to show you front to back what an ultimate armor looks like on a Porsche 911 w all okay ppf removal time this part is always super fun because we have to peel old paint protection film off as you guys can see my stuff has the Steamers get it nice and hot to try to remove the old film you got to do it this way because if you uh try to rip it off you're going to peel off your paint super dangerous and uh well you don't want to peel paint on a 911 so I'm going to show you what that looks like we're going through it please pray for our fingers because uh man this stuff is really hard on your fingers quick update for ppf on 991.1 the headlights are able to come out pretty easily using a tool that slots in and it literally lifts it with this little mechanism here and so the headlights can come out you can tuck the film on 991.2 Unfortunately they did away with that and so uh the headlights do not pop out easily and the only way those headlights pop out is if the whole front bumper comes off so unfortunately we will not be able to tuck it the same way with that being said all of our film here is going to get tucked on the 991.1 one all the way till about here so when we put the headlight back on it's going to be as seamless as it can get you can see we removed the side markers as well so the film is going to get tucked in all the way here as well as right there stay tuned what oh all right you guys we are putting on this Porsche badge here Ben can you remove the stencil please all right that looks pretty good we even got the laser so you guys can see we're trying to line all that up and that Porsche badge looks pretty good is wow and there you have it folks that is full ultimate armor on this 2013 Carrera we have combed through the car it looks beautiful I mean you guys saw the condition it came in everything was weathered was beat but wheels off whole thing looking Fantastic look how shiny these wheels are the brakes too coated those calipers everything got coated covered in PP F looks so freaking good I mean you guys can see some of this b-roll looking really great also too this is a decision we made so normally Porsches when they do the protection they do it to like like that I opted to just do a line straight across I feel like it looks a little cleaner that way and you actually get full coverage of the area so Porsche guys this is going to be my recommended option it just looks cleaner that way I me you guys saw we took that old Porsche badge off we put the new one on look how clean that is we use the temp PL straight from Porsche those suckers are stupid expensive for no reason so now we have clean badges on that thing whole thing coated and guys again this is a 2013 guards red and it looks brand new so if you have a Porsche support your fellow PCA member I am a longtime Porsche member um and a big fan if you know me you'll know I've been with Porsche for a really long time love this brand love these cars and so this red one really needed some love and I'm happy to have finally restored it it is to a point where now when it goes to car shows turns heads this type of work generally will take about a week to do front to back ultimate armor is not an easy package to install it is time intensive labor intensive but the end result is so worth it so if you've got a porser that you want to get done trust the real Enthusiast to uh comb through your car it's Jesse at hble crew autospot ceramic Crow of Plano signing out

Step 6: Paint Correction

The paint had become weathered over time, despite being taken care of its whole life. Swirl marks, embedded water spots, scratches, and even some light oxidation had permeated the finish of this vehicle. Guards Red in particular is a soft paint, meaning it scratches easily and requires a delicate hand to keep clean. We did a full two step paint correction to safely reduce the blemishes and restore a deep gloss and clarity prior to sealing in.

Step 7: Ceramic Coating

Once the paint was in great shape, we applied our 7 year Ceramic Coating onto the panels of the vehicle. Nxtzen coatings are specifically designed to combat pancreatin (the digestive enzyme found in bird poop that causes etching into your paint), bug staining, and hard water spotting. Aside from great chemical protection, Ceramic Coatings also provide a slick surface that causes treated surfaces to clean easily. That means that this 911 won't require as frequent of a detailing schedule to maintain a deep finish. One application of Nxtzen Elite is warrantied for 7 years, backed with a no-nonsense warranty that covers parts and labor.

The Result: A Legend Reborn

After a week of intensive labor, the 911 emerged transformed. The new PPF wrapped every curve without visible seams, the ceramic-coated wheels gleamed, and the revitalized badge completed the vintage-meets-modern aesthetic.

Jesse’s Take:

“This car went from weathered to head-turning. When it rolls into a show now, it looks like it just left Stuttgart.”

Why Ultimate Armor?

The Ultimate Armor package isn’t a quick fix—it’s a labor of love. Designed for Porsche owners who prioritize preservation, it combines PPF, ceramic coatings, and obsessive attention to detail.

Time Investment: 7+ days

Worth It? “Absolutely,” says Jesse. “These cars deserve to be protected as fiercely as they’re driven.”

Conclusion

For Jesse, a longtime Porsche Club of America (PCA) member, projects like this are more than just business—they’re a tribute to automotive heritage. Whether it’s a 911 or a daily driver, Humble Crew Auto Spa’s philosophy remains the same: precision, passion, and protection that lasts.
