The goal of PPF is to not even know its there. A lot goes into that. We put in the extra effort to disassemble certain parts, and tuck when applicable to hide less edges. When cleaning leather you need to be extra carful not to damage it, since it is a delicate material. Harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing can lead to damage. There are a lot of ways to wash a car, and a plethora of bad ways. Here at Humble Crew we us the three bucket method. The reason we do this is it is a very safe way to avoid scratching up your car. All three bucket bottoms have a sediment/debris grate. This allows us to get all the dirts and debris of the wash mitts and brushes ensuring we aren't rubbing it on the paint. Wheels are dirty, which is why they have there own bucket and tools. All the brake dust and road grime should never touch paint. The wash bucket and rinse bucket go hand in hand. Paint correction is the process of getting out damage from paint, such as scratches, swirl marks, and marring. To do this you use a machine buffer with a variety of pads and compounds. Using your tools you very slowly and conservatively start cutting down the clear coat to level the surface removing the damage and restoring the shine. This was definitely a 10 out of 10 difficulty car to work on! This brand new #Lexus TX came in for our full front end #SunTek Paint Protection Film, plus our 7 year #SystemX Ceramic Coating Package. What was so tricky about this job? In particular, that front grill. Lexus decided that this front grill should be a one-piece bumper, so the kit that was used for this vehicle had 12 different strips of PPF that had to be perfectly lined up with the rest of the bumper. All in all, the difficulty in lining everything up was high, but we managed to get the job done well. The PPF gets tucked in, so seams are tight and in most areas, you can't tell there is PPF there (which is especially important on a white car).
